16626 Thumper

This minor planet is named after a character from Disney's 1942 animated film "Bambi." Thumper is a young rabbit who was friends with the titular character. He is famed for a useful moral rule of thumb, the Thumperian principle: "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."

The symbol of this minor planet is a rabbit head, as in the symbol for the constellation Lepus, with a smile on it, as in the comedic mask in the symbol for 23 Thalia, representing the character's kindness and comic relief role.
