2038 Bistro
2038.png

This minor planet is named after a bistro, which a type of small, modest restaurant that originally developed in France. Parisian landlords would open their apartments to the public, and serve a simple limited menu of food. The name is also a numerical pun — the number 2038 is twice 1019, as in 1019 Stracke, so this minor planet's number is bi-Stracke.

The symbol for this minor planet is a bowl, represented as a half-circle and perhaps filled with a nice cassoulet, with two tiny S's above it, representing both the steam of a hot meal and emphasizing the pun.
