2063 Bacchus
2063.png

This minor planet is named after Bacchus, an aspect of the Roman god Liber, whose Greek counterpart is Dionysus, god of wine, ecstasy, and madness. He was the patron of the Roman Bacchanalia.

The symbol of this minor planet is a simple wineglass, made of a Y-shape with a base. It was created and used by various astrologers; some place the provenance of this symbol to the CAO Times, an astrological newsletter from the 70s and 80s.
