2082 Galahad

This minor planet is named after Sir Galahad, a figure from Arthurian legend. He was one of the knights of the Round Table, and led the quest to find the Holy Grail, which some consider to be the holy grail of Arthurian legend. He successfully found the thing, and was deemed pure enough and a holy enough knight to ascend into heaven immediately.

The symbol of this minor planet is a depiction of the Holy Grail itself: a cup, with a small cross sitting in it.
