2138 Swissair

This minor planet is named after the now-defunct airline Swissair, which at the time of naming was the national airline of Switzerland. The reason it was given this name is because the original designation of this minor planet is 1968 HB, and HB was the Swissair callsign.

The symbol of this minor planet is based on the logo and signet of Swissair at the time, a stylized airplane: a right-pointing arrow, with back-pointing wings above and below.
