2245 Hekatostos

This minor planet is named after the Greek word ἑκατοστός (hekatostos), the ordinal number meaning "100th." This minor planet is so-named because it is the one-hundredth minor planet that was found by the joint efforts of the Institute for Theoretical Astronomy in Leningrad and the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory at Nauchnij.
