260 Huberta

This minor planet is named after St. Hubert or St. Hubertus (656 - 727), the Apostle of the Ardennes, a Catholic bishop and patron saint of hunters, mathematicians, opticians and metalworkers. The miracle that he experienced in his lifetime was a vision: after the death of his wife, he dedicated his life and energy towards hunting, but one day when he was hunting a large stag he saw a glowing crucifix above its horns, and heard the voice of God, to turn towards a life of faith.

The symbol of this minor planet is a large pair of antlers at the bottom, which resemble the horns of Taurus with an extra vertical part on each side, with a crucifix above it.
