31 Euphrosyne

This minor planet is named after one of the three Charities from Greek myth, or Graces from Roman myth. She personifies beauty, along with Thalia, personification of abundance, and Aglaea, personification of splendor. Their mother is Charis, and their father is Hephaistos.

The symbol of this minor planet is a Greek letter Epsilon over the Grace symbol, which is an abstract glyph of three women with their arms around each other, as they are often portrayed.
