31 Euphrosyne

This minor planet is named after one of the three Charities from Greek myth, or Graces from Roman myth. She personifies beauty, along with Thalia , personification of abundance, and Aglaea, personification of splendor. Their mother is Charis, and their father is Hephaistos.

The symbol of this minor planet is a Greek letter Epsilon over the Grace symbol, which is an abstract glyph of three women with their arms around each other, as they are often portrayed.
